I Have Nothing To Wear

After shooting this outfit, I realised that it's actually all from Primark! I just can't resist that place.

The first thing I saw when I was shopping was this 'I have nothing to wear' t-shirt, this sums me up perfectly! I'm always moaning that I have nothing to wear, when clearly I do.

I love dressing down, as much as dressing up now if I'm honest, casual wear is something I've been buying more of. I like the idea of adding pieces to my wardrobe that are versatile. I can picture myself being able pair this t-shirt with a floaty skirt and strappy sandals for a summer picnic, or with skinny black jeans, a leather jacket and heels for date night.

For this outfit I decide to go super casual, an everyday, running errands, kind of outfit. I decided to pair the t-shirt with a relaxed fit, light denim, pair of jeans, and a khaki utility style jacket. Both of which are also from Primark.  I think the key to casual dressing is all about the accessories, taking an outfit from plain, to styled. I chose this monochrome paisley neck tie, and rose gold sunglasses, to tie the whole look together.

Summer Dreaming

Monochrome sleeveless jacket- Peacocks | Jeans - Primark | T-shirt - Primark | Boots - Primark | Bag - Ted Baker

Wahoo, the sun finally made an appearance after what felt like an eternity of rain! I'd been waiting for a day like this to shoot this summery boho inspired look, and when the sun finally descended on us I turned to bae and was like, that's it get the car ready were off to take outfit photos! Normally this would cause him to groan, however, thanks to Pokemon Go it was a win, win, situation for us both, Hoorah!

I bought this gorgeous, light weight, monochrome sleeveless jacket a while ago and couldn't wait to wear it. I could picture it with casual tees and denim shorts, and although it was the hottest day of the year, I just couldn't bare the thought of my milk bottle legs being on show - next time I will remember to fake tan! Instead I opted for some light denim, mom style jeans.

I love the high waist fit of the jeans and find this style very flattering on me, as I'm not the tallest person! I paired it with a simple brown belt and some matching brown ankle boots. My casual tee, believe it or not, was from Primark Men's section for a bargain £2.50! I prefer the men's t-shirts because I love the high necks on them, I find the women's ones are always very low cut!

We frolicked about in the warm setting sun, strolling hand in hand, only broken when there was a Magmar in the near vicinity. It was a lovely summers night.

SS16 Flower Power

Shirt - Primark | Skirt - Next | Bag - New Look | Boots - Peacocks

Hurray for better weather! The sun has been shining this past week, and I decided to embrace it with open arms. I made a sneaky purchase, which included this gorgeous floral belted skirt from Next. I really love the pattern, and neutral summery green colour. It fits perfectly and is very flattering on.

I decided to pair it with a classic white shirt, that I've tied in a knot to give it a more bohemian, less formal, vibe. Though the weather has been warmer, I'm not prepared to go bare legged just yet! So popped on some trusty black tights and black boots. I can see this skirt looking great with tan sandals and bare legs though!

Bohemian Dream

Kimono - River Island | Crop Top - New Look | Skirt - New Look | Belt - H&M

A trend I am definitely sporting this season is the Dream Weaver trend. Pastel hues and bohemian prints, what more could a girl ask for? This kimono jacket from River Island encapsulates this look seamlessly. The monochrome bohemian print is set off perfectly by the delicate baby pink pom pom trim. The attention to detail is what drew me to this piece, the pattern, the fringing and the sequins, all tied together beautifully. I can see me wearing this a lot!
I tied the outfit together with a classic black, high waist denim skirt and racer crop top. To add emphasis to the basic underlay of my outfit, I added a western style belt. The skirt is a super flattering cut, it cinches in at the waist and flares out into an A-line cut.

This outfit practically screams festival season, now I just need to be actually going to one. If there's one trend you should back this season it's this one! There is just so much choice in terms of cut and pattern that there is something for everyone.

What are your thoughts on this trend?

Weekend Vibes

|Coat - H&M | Dress - Primark | Boots - New Look | Scarf - Primark | Bag - Kurt Geiger |

Hello Lovelies, is it just me, or is everyone else fed up with this dreary weather!? I've had enough of bundling up against the icy winds, and battling the rain every time I need to leave the house. That being said, last Sunday we pottered out for the day, and despite the weather being freezing I wore a dress! I know what you may be thinking, but I just loved the print so much, and I think it looked pretty paired with my knee length boots.

I picked up this cute high neck, daisy print, dress from Primark for around £13! I originally thought it would look great in summer, with tan sandals, a slouchy tan bag, red lips and a messy bun. Then the prospect of making it more winter worthy popped into my head, so I layered it with dark brown knee length boots, thick tights, a navy cardigan and my long line black coat. I really like how the outfit turned out. Though I won't say it was hugely warm it was worth it as I just couldn't wait to wear my new purchase, you know how it feels I'm sure!

Are you ready for some warmer weather?

Casual Faded Denim

    Coat - New Look | Shirt - Primark | Jeans - Primark | Pumps - Asda | Bag - Kurt Geiger | Sunglasses - Peacocks |

I love dressing up, but I love dressing casual even more. I find casual wear lets you be more creative with layering. Laid back chic is definitely the way forward. SS16 will see us donning more denim and more neutral tones. I thought this casual outfit marred the two of the perfectly, making it not only warm, but bang on trend too.

If you haven't already guessed, this camel coat is my favourite jacket at the moment, it's so easy to wear and goes with everything. I kinda need want to get it in grey too. I love how it has the structured fit, but also the relaxed feel to it. It's so cosy which is a major plus given he weather we've been having!

I paired a crisp white shirt (that's actually longline, but I tied it up!) and distressed blue denim jeans to finish off the off duty look.

I really love this look and definitely want to get some more fashion posts up soon!

A Winter's Day

Coat - New Look
Stripe Polo Neck - Primark
Denim Button Down Skirt - Primark
Scarf - New Look

Hello there! I apologise for the fact that I have been a little MIA recently, it's for a reason though! I've been away in Dublin with my lovely other half to celebrate our 7 year anniversary. I will be doing a little post on our trip soon.

I'd got this little outfit post ready and waiting in my drafts, it was planned to go up before we went away, but alas, time got the better of me and it got left behind until today!

I'd been looking for a camel coat for a while and just couldn't find one that I loved enough to buy, that was until I popped into new look and this beautiful piece caught my eye. It's an oversized boyfriend style coat in a lovely caramel camel colour. The material is thick and warm without being restrictive which I love. It's exactly what I'd been looking for. I like to wear it with blue denim and brown ankle boots.

This denim skirt has already been featured on a previous blog post of mine but I just find it so versatile and easy to wear that it had to be featured again! With a thick pair of tights and a snuggly jumper its easily made winter appropriate.

The scarf is the part if the outfit I love the most, it's just so big and snuggly! When I'm cold in the morning I unfold  it and drape it over me like a blanket to try and keep warm, it's a very wearable item that every one needs in their winter wardrobe.

I hope that you like this outfit post. I'm hoping to get some more festive posts up in the next couple of weeks as Christmas is almost upon us!

Berry Gloves- Primark
Bobble hat- Select Fashion
Lip Gift Set- Kiko

I've recently turned into some what of a shopaholic. I blame the Christmas music. I always go with the intention of solely buying Christmas gifts, but end up popping a few sneaky treats for my self in the basket too! Whoops!

The shops are bustling at the minute and the winter lines are irresistible. I love winter fashion, I particularly love layering. Which is why I have picked up a few pieces that I cannot wait to layer together.

I picked up this short sleeve, high neck, stripe top from Primark. I picture wearing it either casually with a leather jacket and black jeans or dressed up with a black skirt and black blazer.  It is a very versatile piece and it was something that was missing in my current wardrobe.

I also picked up a few winter accessories, including these wine coloured gloves which were only £1! Such a total bargain and they go really well with my new camel coat. I also got this adorable bobble hat which I can't wait to wear.

I am obsessed with these lace bras, I need them in every colour. This sexy piece is from New Look and it fits perfectly. I love all the delicate lace detail and fringing along the bottom.

Another New Look Purchase is this pale grey and cream skirt. I imagined wearing this with a polo neck jumper (of course!) Thick tights and heeled boots. It will also transition nicely into spring, paired with a pretty white shirt.

If you follow me on  you will have seen that I'm planning on doing a stocking filler gift guide, so I have been buying bits and bobs for that. I thought I would give you a sneak peak as to what to expect within the gift guide, so one of the pieces I chose was this 'Kiko Temptress Lip Set', which comes with a lip liner and lipstick. It's the perfect duo for the lipstick lover in your life, be it your mum, friend, sister, girlfriend it's bound to be the perfect stocking filler.

This bag is literally what dreams are made of. As much as I wish that I could afford the Chloe bag,  my budget just doesn't spread that far and therefore I opted for this stunning brown faux leather New Look dupe. It is a generous size not too big but big enough to fit all my essentials in.

I also needed some plain black flat ankle boots in my winter wardrobe, and these Primark ones were such a steal at £8.00.

Who can resist Christmas PJ's? Not me that's for sure. This Tartan night shirt is Christmas perfect, pass me the faux fur throw and hot chocolate. As well as Christmas PJ's there's also copper, copper everywhere. This cute little travel mug is from Primark and it's definitely a Bloggers dream beverage holder. Your welcome.

The final item I picked up was this chunky brown scarf from New Look, I got it to match my coat as I love a good thick scarf to snuggle under whilst I'm on my way to work.

So that's what I've bought recently, I hope I haven't tempted you too much!
